Same-Day Structural Drying in East Tennessee
Free inspection • All insurance accepted • IICRC certified
Is the water gone, but the floor still feels cold or the room smells damp? Water hides in walls, subfloor and framing, and it leads to mold if it stays. We dry it out and check it every day until it is dry. Call any hour. The inspection is free.
How we handle structural drying in East Tennessee
Call and tell us what got wet and when. Someone answers at any hour. In the Tri-Cities our emergency crews are on site within 60 minutes, and we reach the Knoxville corridor the same day.
At the free inspection, we check the walls, subfloor, framing and crawlspace with moisture meters and a thermal camera, and map where the water reached.
We take a reading from a dry area of the same material elsewhere in the house. That reading is the target, so we know when your home is dry.
We set air movers and dehumidifiers, and we use rescue mats under hardwood to dry the floor from below. That can save a floor that would otherwise have to come out.
A technician comes back every day to check the readings and move equipment. Most jobs take three to five days. We write the estimate in Xactimate, the same software insurance companies use, and we work directly with your insurance company on the claim. If something is not covered, financing is available.

Why homeowners call us for structural drying
On site within 60 minutes
Wet framing and drywall can start to grow mold within a couple of days. In the Tri-Cities our emergency crews are on site within 60 minutes, day or night, and we reach the Knoxville corridor the same day.
A free inspection, no commitment
We measure what is wet, tell you what needs drying and about how long it will take, and put it in writing. You decide whether we do the work.
We dry it to a number
The equipment comes out when the readings match a dry area of your home, not when the calendar says so.
We accept all insurance
We work directly with your insurance company and log every daily reading, so your claim shows why the drying took as long as it did.
Family owned and IICRC certified
We are a family-owned crew out of Johnson City, and our structural drying follows IICRC standards.

Structural drying questions we answer most
The ones we get on almost every job.
How long does drying take?
Most jobs run three to five days, and we will not know yours until we see how the materials respond. Plaster, hardwood and a wall cavity give water up at very different speeds. We read the same points daily and tell you where you are, so the end date stops being a guess after about day two.
Can I turn the fans off at night? They are loud.
Please do not. Air movers and dehumidifiers only work while they run, and a night off can add a day to the job. Tell us which rooms you need to sleep in and we will rearrange the equipment and close doors rather than switch anything off.
How do you know when it is actually dry?
We compare the wet material against a dry sample of the same material elsewhere in your house. When the two readings meet and hold, the structure is dry and the equipment comes out. That is the IICRC method, and it is why we take a reading every day instead of running fans for a set number of days.
Do you have to open up my walls?
Sometimes, and we try the less invasive option first. Drilling small holes behind the baseboard often lets us dry a wall cavity without taking the drywall out. If the insulation is saturated or the readings will not move, the wet section has to come out, and we show you the numbers before we cut.
Will mold grow if the drying is slow?
It can. Mold growth needs moisture and time, which is exactly what a slow dry-out gives it, so the first days matter more than the last. If we find growth already established, that is mold remediation rather than drying, and we will tell you which one you are looking at.
