Which service do you need?
We handle water, fire, mold and storm damage for East Tennessee homeowners.
We work for you, not your insurance carrier.
Here is the part most folks never get told. When you file a claim, your carrier may point you toward a company on their preferred vendor list. You do not have to use them. You can hire whoever you want, same as picking your own body shop after a wreck. If anybody tells you different, call us and we will get it straightened out.
It matters more than it sounds. A crew the carrier sends is under contract with the carrier. When you hire us, we are under contract with you.
That changes how the work gets done. The quick money in this trade is tearing everything out, running fans, and handing you off to a contractor. We would rather open a wall from the side that costs you least and dry a floor another crew would have hauled to the curb. You get the worst case up front, then we work to come in under it.
We are back every day with moisture readings, and we document all of it, so your adjuster has no reason to drag his feet. And every job ends the way it would have ended with Uncle Conrad. A piece of candy and a thank-you note, signed, left on the counter.

Communities we serve across East Tennessee
We run crews across the Tri-Cities and down the corridor into Knoxville, from Johnson City and Kingsport out to Greeneville, Rogersville, Sevierville and Morristown. We are based in Johnson City, which keeps most of this territory inside an hour. East Tennessee weather drives most of the work. Cold snaps split pipes in crawlspaces. Summer humidity grows mold in ductwork. Heavy rain overruns gutters and soaks subfloors, and storms put limbs through roofs. We work houses, rentals and commercial property, and the line is answered every hour of the year.

Answers to common questions
The ones we get on almost every job.
How much does water damage restoration cost?
Nobody can tell you the real number before the work starts. Anybody who hands you a firm price on the first visit is guessing. We bill mitigation against the IICRC S500 standard. The line items are priced off a current Xactimate list, which is the same cost tool your carrier uses. On that first visit you get a worst-case scope and a not-to-exceed number. Then we work to come in under it. If your deductible is high next to the size of the damage, we will tell you.
Do you offer a guarantee?
We do not offer a money-back guarantee, and we would rather not pretend otherwise. What we do instead matters more on a job like this. Worst case up front, a not-to-exceed number, moisture readings every day, and documentation you can look at any time you want. When you hire us, we are under contract with you, not your carrier. That is the Uncle Conrad standard, and we hold ourselves to it.
How fast can you get to my home?
Across the Tri-Cities we are on-site within 60 minutes, day or night, holidays included. We reach the Knoxville corridor the same day you call. Call as soon as you find it, even before you know where it is coming from. The sooner we start, the less there is to fix.
Do you offer free estimates?
Free estimates, always. We come out, look at the damage, and give you a straight picture of what you are facing before anybody starts work. It costs you nothing, and it gives you what you need to make the right call for your home. All insurance accepted, and we have financing if you need it.
Do you file my insurance claim for me?
No, and no restoration company can. Only you as the policyholder can file, and only your adjuster and your carrier decide what is covered. What we do is work the file with your adjuster. Full 360 room scans, moisture and humidity logs every day, photos and video, all of it shared with you and with them. A clean file is how a claim keeps moving instead of stalling. And one thing worth knowing: you are allowed to hire whichever restoration company you want. If somebody tells you that you have to use a preferred vendor, that is not true, and we will help you get it straightened out.
